Hi, I’m Vickey. I’m a relationship therapist who works with individuals and couples who are ready to look deeply within themselves. From there, they can grow new skills and shift out of negative behaviors.

Rather than simply providing a sounding board or a place to vent, working with me is an opportunity to explore root causes and old stories that you are ready to let go of. My sessions are a space where, with the right questions and opportunities, stuck patterns are released and change becomes inevitable.

Some people say that therapy is hard work. I believe that with the right therapist, progress can actually be easy.

Individual & Couples Therapy for People Who Are Ready To Look Within

As one of my clients, I will guide you in learning about your history so that you can rebuild your present and future. If you have ever said to yourself “why do I react the way I do?” or “I just don’t get why I keep doing this”, I can help. By asking different (and sometimes weird) questions, we can find the subconscious answers to those very questions. Oddly enough, on some deep level, everything we do actually does make sense. I’ve found it’s easier to change the behavior when we more deeply understand the motivations behind it. If this sounds like what you’re looking for in a therapist, I’d love to connect with you!

Focus Areas

Individual Therapy

We all have subconscious stories; beliefs about the world that we don’t realize we have. Together, we will explore how you look at things. Then we will add: why do you look at things this way? Let’s dive deep and figure out your subconscious motivations that lie underneath the surface.

Couples Therapy

What issues are you both kicking up for each other? That is the beautiful mess of marriage: we marry the person who kicks up our past stuff. This is individual work; we find out what is coming up for each of you, and as you get healthier as individuals, your relationship will start to shift.

Parenting

Are you wondering if your own childhood is impacting your parenting? Or, do you simply want to do it differently than your parents did? What I can help you with is addressing your own childhood trauma—whether that involves significant, life-altering trauma (Big T trauma) or more subtle, cumulative experiences (little T trauma.)

Mental Health & Well-Being Keynote Speaker

Are you watching your bottom line and company culture take a hit as your teams drown in unmanageable workloads and constant stress?

➜ Maybe you’re facing higher costs from absenteeism, or you’re dealing with the fallout of burnout because employees aren’t taking necessary time off.

➜  You might be seeing a drop in productivity as morale hits rock bottom, with team members losing enthusiasm for their projects.

➜  Are conflicts rising while valuable employees feel overlooked and unheard, leading to costly turnover and recruitment expenses?

The root cause of these issues may surprise you, because it often boils down to a lack of self-worth and poor boundary setting.

Recently, Bold Journey asked to interview me about my lens of self-esteem (and self-worth) and share my own personal journey developing my own sense of self-worth. Read my interview here!
